We ask the Federal Government to let Fulani herdmen spend their own money to save their business. If public money is spent on a type of farming, we demand that all Nigerian farmers should also demand to be supported to move their operations to government-owned facilities.
Nigerians have questioned why the Federal and State Government would spend public funds on Fulani herders who are private businessemen to establish grazing lands using public funds. Instead, the fair way to help the kinsmen of President Muhammadu Buhari is through the establishment of privately-owned ranches as part of solutions to frequent clashes and loss of lives and property associated with the open grazing of cattle.
Nigeria is one of the few countries remaining where cattle herders still roam the streets. The country just failed to develop. Herdsmen, many of whom are not even legally in Nigeria, run their animals through private farms and destroy everything along the way. This has raised ethnic tensions as clashes have increased as land owners assert their rights to their ancenstral lands.
- Ensure government does not favor one economic sector over others
- End the violence across Nigeria
- Protect the rights of farmers and land owners under the law
- Stop nepotism and favoritism in government
- Assure Nigerians that they have equality under the law
